The sad sad rain on Aug 23rd
Was the saddest fucking rain that I ever fucking heard,
I went down to the shed with a candle on a plate
And stared at your face flickering in flame.

The next morning lurched in, broken & muddled.
I put my jumper on, went looking for puddles.
But oh, you know there were none, and the streets were all bone dry,
I came home, still felt homesick, and didn't know why.

So take your picture back, I'll keep the frame,
You won't look that beautiful to me ever again,

Ah well, I did record the WNTP performance yesterday, but it was a bit too loud for my camera, so there's nothing to upload I'm afraid. Was a great show though, no doubt there'll be loads more opportunities to capture 'em. Meanwhile, I recorded some great new material from Julia Finimore today, here's one of her new tracks if you'd like to listen:

The William Nein Tea Party are playing at Tommy Flinns in Camden tonight, and I'm taking the old video cameroon so hopefully there'll be somink to shows ya on the morrow. Would be nice to make more of this blog in coming months, so I'm gonna continue to film stuff & post the results. Come down if yer local, stage time is 10pm.
